Insurance Information

Football NSW (FNSW) provides the following Insurance Program information for 2025.

PERSONAL ACCIDENT INSURANCE
The Personal Accident insurance aligns this year with the national insurance program, providing cover for capital benefits, non-Medicare medical expenses, loss of income and other policy benefits, and ensures the sustainability of the program.

Personal accident claims are lodged via the online claims portal. As part of the claim process, the participant downloads a Club Declaration form which the club then signs and returns to the participant to be uploaded into the claims portal.

PUBLIC LIABILITY & MANAGEMENT LIABILITY INSURANCE
Public Liability insurance is designed to help protect insured entities if a third party claims they have suffered a serious injury, or their property has been damaged due to the insured’s negligent activities.

Management Liability insurance (includes Directors & Officers insurance) is designed to help protect the insured entity and management against alleged or actual Wrongful acts.  This is a ‘claims made’ policy which requires the club to notify Gow-Gates and/or the insurer if at any time it becomes aware of circumstances which may result in a claim under the policy.
