Becoming a coach or manager with the Lions is a rewarding experience

For those who have already registered, thank you for choosing the WPHC Lions as the club for your child to play football in 2019. Our primary interests are for your child to have a year of football fun and development which will help shape their future love for the game!

Did you know that the entire club is run on the amazing work of its volunteers? Parents just like you who want to do something that is satisfying and of great service to our community.

So with this in mind, we require Volunteers to assist the club in the 2019 season. We are looking for parents to help coach, manage and co-ordinate teams for our youngest and largest age groups. The roles we need volunteers for right now are:

• U7 age coordinator – 1 volunteer
• U8 age coordinator – 1 volunteer

In addition, each team will need the following volunteers to be the coach & manager – 2 volunteers per team, to be finalised at the minis allocation day.

The only qualification required is your desire to help these young players have fun and develop their footballing skills and knowledge. You don’t need any coaching experience; you don’t even need to know the rules. We are fortunate to have one of the leading coaching directors in NSW, at our club who will be able to equip you with everything you need to ensure the children have a memorable year and are geared for success.

We will look forward to seeing you at the upcoming minis allocation day. Although in the meantime, we encourage you to reach out and ask any questions you like to our Minis VP, Dylan Walker (details below)
