Important 2022 Season & Rego Update

We are excited after such a long period away, we are close to the 2022 season, the Club is pleased to update you all on the status of Registration for next season.

We all had a curtailed 2021 season and this has been recognised by both the Association and your Club Committee. We would like to thank you all for your continued support as we prepare for what we all hope will be a full and normal 2022 season.

To this end and with the support of NWSF, we are pleased to provide a reduced Registration Fee for 2022 in recognition and to thank everyone for your commitment to the Lions.

The revised Fee structure is provided below, with the 2021 season fee shown for comparison.

This applies to all Players for the 2022 season only (2023 onwards will revert to levels similar to prior years).

  • Football4All: $100 (no change from 2021, covered in full by Active Kids Voucher)
  • U6 < U11: $200 (<U11 were $225-$245 in 2021) – only $100 with the use of an Active Kids Voucher
  • U12 <U18: $230 ($255 in 2021) – – only $130 with the use of an Active Kids Voucher
  • U19 > All Seniors: $290 ($360 in 2021)

Please remember that all players of school age are eligible for the Active Kids voucher worth $100 which can be downloaded from and completed prior to use for registration.

We hope you will all recognise the value this represents for playing at such a great Club and one of the largest in NSW and we look forward to seeing you ready for next season.

Key Dates

As we head towards 2022 season, we are pleased to confirm the following dates:

  1. Registration opens on Play Football ( 4th January, 2022
  2. Player/Parent Information Night & Gear Sales: 2nd February, 2022
  3. Grading (U9 and above): 13th February, 2022

Coach & Manager Registration

For those of you Registering for these Volunteer roles, please remember to also register on Play Football and you will need to complete your Working With Children Check.

For U9’s only, as this is traditionally the first age group to be graded, we recognise that this sometimes creates concern for those who simply want to play football with friends.

Recognising this and remembering our sole purpose is to provide opportunities to simply play football, we are changing the Grading policy for this age group.

For 2022 all Players will be required to Grade for one session but can then “opt out” by creating/nominating a group of players who wish to remain together.

Grading for those who want the higher Divisions will proceed as normal.
